The Youth Group has many
events where youth from various ages are able to get plugged in and
acquainted with one another. Throughout the year the youth participate in
activities including bible study and fellowship on Wednesday nights. Also
they take trips to Camp Loucon for weekend retreats as well as concerts in
the surrounding areas. In addition they attend Winter Blitz in Louisville
every year along with New Song, which features various Christian artists.
Currently the youth is working towards gaining sponsors for the upcoming
Relay for Life. Also, the youth has chosen to adopt a child from the
Compassion International Program. The youth group is looking forward to
this summer and welcomes anyone to join the youth here at Faith United
Methodist.
