It is the mission of Faith Moves to be in selfless service to the Faith Neighborhood so that they can clearly see God through us and, as a result, seek a deeper relationship with Him.

Our Activities

November 6 - Smoke Detector Project - We will be in the Springhill neighborhood replacing batteries and installing smoke detectors.

October 30 - 5th Sunday Service and Reverse Trick-or-Treating

September 17 - Block Party

What is Faith Moves?

Faith Moves is our effort to reach out to our neighbors and be in service to them. We believe that God wants us to serve others. The Springhill subdivision is literally in our backyard so we are focusing our service efforts on our Springhill neighbors. Our plan is to expand our efforts into the other surrounding subdivisions of Stonehenge, Thames Valley, and Whispering Hills.

It is the vision of Faith Moves that no resident of the Faith Neighborhood (Springhill, Stonehenge, Thames Valley, Whispering Hills):
• Is hungry because they can’t afford food.
• Is cold because they have no coat.
• Is unsafe because they have no help to repair their home.
• Is unable to go to the doctor or other important places because they have no transportation
• Is left to struggle alone because of cultural differences
• Is lonely
• Is without a relationship with their Lord and Savior.

What Types of Service Do We Provide?

• Light Interior Home Maintenance
• Light Exterior Home Maintenance
• Lawn and Yard Care
• Transportation
• Material Support (Food, Clothing, Etc.)
• Connections with Community Resources
• Companionship
• Smoke Detector Battery Replacement (or installation of new smoke detectors)
• Invitations to events such as community dinners, music events, and family nights.

How Can You Get Involved With the Faith Moves Effort?

Talk to any one of the Faith Moves team and we will find a job for you! We need people with all levels of skills and abilities and there is a place for you!
